Everyday is packed full of fun activities where our children can enjoy creating, playing and learning about so many things. It's so hard to choose, but we've picked out some of our favourite things from the November to share with you.
These includes activities like creating firework art for Bonfire night, celebrating Children in Need and learning more about Diwali.
Fantastic fireworks
Wow, we had so much fun at nursery creating firework art displays using chalks. And best of all, the children really enjoyed spraying our big chalk fires and putting them out!
Diwali
The children loved learning about Diwali, the Festival of Light. They enjoyed traditional stories, talking about who celebrates Diwali at home including what they do to celebrate and what it means to them. We also explored Diva lamps, Rangoli patterns and getting on our feet and dancing to some fantastic bhangra music! The children and staff also got dressed up for Diwali and wore bindis and other jewellery such as bangles, necklaces and head pieces.
Raising money for Children in Need
Thank you for all your generous donations for Children in Need, this is such a worthwhile charity that we love to support. The children had so much fun dressing up and creating and enjoying lots of pudsey themed crafts and activities. Our fantastic practitioners also got involved dressing up as Pudsey in many of our nurseries.
