October Recap
Everyday we are creating, playing and learning so many great things in our nurseries. So we thought it would be a nice idea to pull out some of our favourite things from the month to share with you.
During October we’ve had so many exciting things taking place. These included celebrating National Practioners Day, learning more about Black History Month and even dressing up for Halloween.
Halloween
The children love dressing up at nursery and Halloween is the best excuse to wear a spooky outfit... or maybe just be a princess for the day! There were so many fabulous costumes and we loved them all. Roll on next year to do it all again.
Black History Month
In October we celebrated Black History Month in our nurseries. The children enjoyed learning more about some important historical figures as well as different traditions from around the world. The children at our Dewsbury nursery took a real interest in Guion Bluford the first black man to go into space, to celebrate Guion's achievements the children created their own rocket to fly into space.
National Practitioners Day
This was our 4th annual National Practitioners Day, we loved reading all of your lovely comments and feedback about how important our practitioners are to you and your family. Our nurseries celebrated in a number of ways including enjoying some tasty treats, beauty treatments and some relaxing downtime.
