Everyday is packed full of fun activities where our children can enjoy creating, playing and learning about so many things. It's so hard to choose, but we've picked out some of our favourite things from the month to share with you.

During August we've had so many things going on. These includes activities like riding Isla bikes in our gardens, achieving our Green Flag Eco school status and not forgetting our very important Graduation Day for our school leavers!

Ready to ride our bikes

Did you know in each and every one of our nurseries we use balance bikes to encourage first bike riding experiences. Isla bikes form part of our Ready, Steady, Pedal initative, which helps to build childrens confidence as they take their first steps into bike riding. Our nurseries have the bikes out all year around but the summer is the perfect time to focus more on these activities.

Green Flag Eco Schools

We're big on being environmentally friendly and recently all our nurseries were awarded the Green Flag Status (the highest award), which is a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. Well done! You can read all about Eco-Schools and what this means here.

Congratuation to our little Graduates

It's a time of mixed emotions when our pre-schoolers are getting ready to leave us for 'big school'.  We can't let them go without a celebration though, and it's always good to have an excuse for a party so August is always busy with graduation days and events. We loved being able to celebrate this year and all the fantastic achievments the children have made while in pre-school.
