December Recap

Everyday we are creating, playing and learning so many great things in our nurseries. So we thought it would be a nice idea to pull out some of our favourite things from the month to share with you.

During December we’ve had so many exciting things taking place. These included celebrating Christmas, continuing with our intergenerational care and even creating our own snow.

 Christmas cheer

We've had so much fun getting in the Christmas spirit. Even though this year has been a little different, the little one's smiles kept us all going and we had a wonderful time in nursery celebrating the happiest time of the year.

Keeping our intergenerational care relationship strong

We love the relationships we have built with our local care homes. The children have really missed going out to see their older friends, sharing stories and playing games. So we decided to find a way to keep our friendships alive thoughout lockdown. This christmas we have been making cards and letters to send to the care homes and have also had some online 'visits' which everyone really enjoyed.

Making our own Snow

Not everyone has had snow this year but we've made our own so we can still enjoy all the winter fun. We've used lots of different ways of creating our own indoor 'snow' and the little ones have really enjoyed dancing in it, making footprints and even building mini snowmen.
