July recap

Everyday we are creating, playing and learning so many great things in our nurseries. So we thought it would be a nice idea to pull out some of our favourite things from the month to share with you.

During July we’ve had so many exciting things taking place. These included celebrating art week, learning about the olympics, looking after the planet and a teddy bears picnic.

If you go down to the woods today...

Summer is the perfect time for a picnic, but due to the great british weather we sometimes need to bring our picnics indoors! But this doesn't stop our fun and our recent teddy bear's picnic was fantastic. The children had a fabulous time and we even invited a dinosaur!

Do we have some future Olympians?

To celebrate the Olympics we've been taking part in lots of themed activities in our nurseries. Some of our children have been busy making their very own Olympic rings which are a symbol of the five continents of the world united. We've also been enjoying our own Olympic games and having fun learning lots of new skills.

Children's Art Week

Some of our nurseries have been celeting Children’s Art Week. Our children love expressing themselves and have enjoyed creating lots of drawings, paintings and even sculptures! We're loving all their mini masterpieces and are so proud of all our children’s hard work.

Saving our Planet

We're big on caring for our planet and this summer our children have taken an active interest in keeping our planet clean and stopping the littering of plastics. All of our nurseries hold an Eco-School award with many already holding the prestigious green flag award. You can find out more about Eco-Schools here.
