We believe trusted relationships truly help children thrive. Simple, steady, and responsive interactions between a teacher and child strengthens the neural connections in children’s brains which ensures a secure attachment, a sense of safety and security and in turn the confidence to challenge themselves and tackle new experiences.
We designate an educator to each child but we also know children make their own choices so take every child’s lead on who they form the strongest bond with if it’s not their first pairing. Our educators really take the time to get to know their children (and their families) as individuals so they can best respond to their needs, help them settle into nursery and makes them feel safe and secure. We understand the benefits of our children developing these secure attachments in building the foundations of trust, so they feel listened to, to spark their interest and to feel valued and respected. We know fostering this first friendship will help them have fun and will build the foundations of encouraging them to become independent. Our educators help get the best out of our children because they know them so well.
