Our nurseries pack every day with lots of fun-filed activites. So we thought it would be a nice idea to pull out some of our favourite things from the month to share with you.
During May we’ve had so many exciting events taking place. These included growing lots of yummy fruits and vegtables, looking at how bees help the earth, enjoying outdoor learning and announcing our new nursery coming soon!
Spring Planting
Spring is the perfect time to get planting. All of our nurseries have a veggie patch where we like to grow plants and vegetables all year around. We've just received new planting packs so our children are really excited to have planted some new fruits and vegetables. Not only do the little ones learn about where our food comes from, they also get to enjoy tasting what they grow as our chefs use the ingredients in their meals. We're looking forward to tasting our yummy fresh strawberries, peas and spring onions soon!
National Bee Day
Buzz buzz goes the bee! On May 21st our nurseries celebrated National Bee Day by learning more about how bee’s help our environment to thrive. The preschool children at our Swindon nursery even got to try lots of different types of honey to see how they tasted and how they differed. So yummy!
National Outdoor Learning Day
We may not have had much sun yet but that doesn’t stop us getting outside every day! On the 20th May we celebrated National Outdoor Learning Day by doing what we do best and providing lots of fun learning opportunities outside for the children.
Coming soon ... our new nursery in Cheltenham
We excitedly announced the launch of our brand new nursery in Cheltenham! Our new nursery is purpose-built with indoor and outdoor spaces designed for inquisitive little ones. There’s stimulating environments and calmer spaces for when they’re on the go or needing to recharge their batteries. We can't wait for it to open later this year!
