Nursery Life - November 2020
Everyday we are creating, playing and learning so many great things in our nurseries. So we thought it would be a nice idea to pull out some of our favourite things from the month to share with you.
During November we’ve had so many exciting things taking place. These included celebrating Diwali, supporting Children In Need, making poppies for remembrance day and even some early Christmas fun.
Celebrating Diwali
We've had lots of fun celebrating Diwali, the Hindu festival of light by creating lovely pictures and trying different foods.
Supporting Children In Need
As always our nurseries have been supporting Children In Need. Lots of children dressed in their Pjs or dressing up in Pudsey outfits. We also held Pudsey themed activities and raised lots of money for this great cause. Thank you to everyone who donated!
Remembrance Day
On the 11th of November we spent some time in nurseries creating poppies for Remembrance Day. We used a variety of materials and arts and crafts to create beautiful bright poppies.
Step into Christmas
We've started to celebrate Christmas by putting up our trees and we’ve even seen a Santa. The children are really getting in the festive spirit... they love the tinsel and putting baubles on the tree and can't wait for more Christmas cheer to fill the nurseries.
