Starting out
Every nursery manager has to start somewhere! Our entry level roles offer the perfect opportunity for anyone aspiring to make their mark in the childcare world. As the face of our nurseries, we offer our early years practitioners plenty of support as they work to achieve their Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 2 qualification. We regularly hold training sessions and have one-to-one meetings with you to help keep your development on track.
As an early years practitioner, you’ll have access to Famly which allows all observations and planning sessions to be recorded via tablet, saving lots of administration time (more time to spend with the children!). You can also provide instant updates to parents about their child’s day through the Famly app.
We also offer some of the best benefits in the industry, with lots of opportunity to progress. Little Pioneers’ unique values mean that anyone can become a nursery manager (or even CEO) – all they need are dreams and aspirations.

Level 2
Qualified at QCF Level 2, you’ll already have lots of experience in looking after children of all ages. Little Pioneers is a place where you can develop and grow into the next stage of your career.
As a Key Person, you’ll have responsibility for the individual needs of some children in the nursery. As well as their meal times and activities, you’ll also be the one who marks their milestones and development with them and their parents. By teaching them the Little Pioneer values, you’ll be more than just a nursery practitioner, you’ll be a nurturing, caring role model for each of your key children.
We also work to nurture you too. As you work towards your QCF Level 3, we give you all of the support you need, with one to one supervisions and lots of learning opportunities. By investing in you, we help you to achieve and become the best nursery practitioner you can be.

We also give each of our practitioners one to one support to make sure that they have all they need to progress.

Management
Management offers some of the most challenging roles in our nurseries. That’s why we give all of our room managers, deputies and nursery managers focused training, along with all of the support they need.
With direct contact with the team at headquarters, our management teams are never alone. This means that they can focus on being the heart of our nurseries.
Even our most senior team members have close relationships with our children and parents. They lead in the teaching of Little Pioneers values, are responsible for delivering Nursery Steering Wheel measures and for making their nursery a happy, friendly place to be.
