With all our nurseries now being open, most of them are starting to go back to their normal opening times. We know you have lots of questions so we're continuously updating our FAQs to try and give you as much information as we can around what steps we are taking to provide a safe and happy environment in all our nurseries. You can also read about the additional sanitation and protective measures we have in place which we hope help give you confidence in returning to nursery.
We managed to open the majority of our nurseries on the 1st June, and the remaining nurseries are now also open. Originally, we had to reduce the opening hours of a number of our nurseries to allow us to meet our legal ratio requirements. But since then the majority of our nurseries are back to their normal hours, with most of the rest following suit next week. This is a decision we’ve had to make to keep our families and colleagues safe. It’s a result of us keeping children and colleagues in their separate ‘bubbles’, not allowing groups of children to move between rooms and our continued commitment to protecting our vulnerable colleagues who cannot yet safely return to work.
We’re hopeful to be able to accommodate as many families who need us although the measures we’ve adopted to stay safe do mean we can look after less children than usual on a daily basis. It’s really important, if you haven’t already spoken to us and intend to return to nursery, that you contact your nursery directly or our customer services team 0800 954 0669 as soon as possible.
