To showcase the power of early years education, we launched a special first-of-its-kind initiative.. work experience for toddlers!
Working in partnership with local businesses, we gave some of our Little Pioneers the chance to swap playtime for hands-on experiences - including caring for animals at a zoo, trying out life as a Firefighter, and stepping into the sparkly shoes of a Princess.
These playful sessions were a chance to bring nursery skills to life, giving our little learners a chance to explore big dreams and put their growing abilities into action.
When it comes to pioneering great futures, it all starts in the early years.
New research has revealed that the skills most valued by today’s business leaders - like teamwork, problem-solving, and communication, are all rooted in the early years of education. So it turns out parents of toddlers might actually be raising future CEOs without even realising it!
Our research revealed that the qualities most valued by business leaders are those which are learned during the formative first five years of life at early education.
The top skills identified were trustworthiness (30%), adaptability (28%) and teamwork (28%). Meanwhile, those sought after in managers also included strong communication (65%), being a natural leader (32%) and problem solving (21%).
