Summer Fayre for The Roxi Foundation at Swindon
At our Swindon nursery, colleagues, children and families have been going above and beyond to raise money for The Roxi Foundation, which supports children and families impacted by autism and ADHD.
The fundraising began with a fantastic staff-led bake sale, alongside themed activities and cake sales for parents and families to enjoy.
The team then held their annual Summer Fayre on 4th of July, with more than 20 colleagues helping to plan and organize the event. The fayre was a huge success, with games, stalls and a raffle, all supported by generous donations from parents and the local community. One of the fantastic raffle prizes was a signed Manchester United shirt!
It was a brilliant day filled with fun, laughter and community spirit, with staff, children and families all getting involved and enjoying the celebrations.
Our New Nursery in Cranbrook!
In August, we celebrated the opening of our brand-new nursery in Cranbrook, Exeter, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new purpose-built nursery has space for up to 100 children and is located in the heart of the growing Cranbrook community. The event was a fantastic success, with local families and members of the community joining us to take a look around the new nursery. We were also delighted to welcome the local Mayor, who helped us mark this exciting milestone
We’re incredibly excited to welcome our first children and families through the doors in September and begin our journey as part of the Cranbrook community!
A Special Celebration for Our Preschool Graduates
Across our nurseries, we have been celebrating a very special milestone as our preschoolers prepare to take their next big step into primary school!
Nurseries across the country have held graduation ceremonies, giving parents and families the opportunity to celebrate their little ones’ achievements. Dressed in adorable graduation gowns, the children proudly collected their awards and celebrated everything they have accomplished during their time at Little Pioneers.
The celebrations continued afterwards, with families enjoying cakes, presents, games, and lots of fun activities together. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate this exciting milestone.
A huge thank you to all our amazing parents and colleagues for supporting the children throughout their early years journey and helping them reach this special moment.
And finally, a huge congratulations and good luck to all our Little Pioneers graduates as they take their next big step into “big school”! We know you’ll be amazing!
Hetton's Fun Run for St Oswald’s Hospice
Hetton nursery hosted their annual Paint Fun Run, bringing children, parents and families together for a colourful day of fun, all while raising money for St Oswald’s Hospice.
The event kicked off with a fantastic warm-up led by staff member Steph, before families took on the course and got covered in colourful paint! Around 30 families took part, creating plenty of smiles, laughter and some very colourful memories along the way.
As well as being a great way to support a fantastic local charity, the event gave families the opportunity to meet, chat and get to know one another while coming together to support their community.
After completing the course, everyone enjoyed some well-deserved cupcakes and oranges to refuel, before relaxing in the park, playing games and enjoying more time together.
So far, the event has raised an incredible £400 for St Oswald’s Hospice, which provides dignified and compassionate care for people of all ages living with progressive, life-limiting conditions.
A huge thank you to St Oswald’s Hospice for providing the paint and supporting the event, and to all the families and colleagues who took part and helped make it another unforgettable day!
Scooping Up Support: Our Ice Cream Moments Fundraiser
Our nurseries, children, families and colleagues across Our Co-op have come together this summer to raise almost £1,500 for Go Beyond through the charity’s Ice Cream Moments campaign.
Across July and August, 31 Little Pioneers nurseries held summer-themed fundraising events, including ice cream and pool parties, fêtes, picnics and dress-up days.
Teams at the Warwick and Lichfield Support Centres also got involved, raising more than £900 through ice cream, bake sales and raffles.
Go Beyond provides life-changing breaks for children aged 8–13 facing serious challenges, giving them the chance to enjoy fun, friendship and new experiences away from everyday pressures.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and helped make these events such a success!
