Child Friendly Recipe - Sausage and Vegetable Hot Pot

Here’s a recipe for a quick meal to make: Sausage and vegetable Hot Pot. Your child will love helping you out and more importantly eating it!
Ingredients:
- Ground Black Pepper 1.2g
- Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil – 6ml
- Spring Greens – 100g
- Fresh Veg Potato – 400g
- Cornflour – 11g
- Parsnips – 60g
- Celery head – 24g
- Carrots – 100g
- Tomato Puree – 20g
- Large Spanish Onions – 60g
- Sausages – 5 each

Ready, steady, cook!

Firstly, heat the oil, add the onions and celery and then fry until they are soft.

Then, add the tomato puree, cornflour, and the vegetables (except the cabbage).

Next, add 200ml of water slowly, bring to the boil and then simmer for 45 mins.

Cook the sausages in the oven, then slice length ways into 3 and add to the vegetable mixture.

Peel and slice the potato, put the hot-pot filling mixture into an oven proof dish, and layer the potatoes on top.

Bake in a moderate oven for about 90 mins or until the potatoes are cooked.

Finally, braise the cabbage and serve with the hotpot
