Welcome to our brand new, purpose-built nursery and pre-school based in Kingsgrove, Wantage.
Our brand new nursery and pre-school in Kingsgrove is located in a new development area to the east of Wantage. Kingsgrove is part a large new development with new homes, primary school and retail shops - and our nursery is located within the local centre, alongside a convenience store.
We opened our doors in September 2025, providing the best childcare, giving you the peace of mind that your child is getting the care, love and attention they need.

Understanding Funded Childcare and Fees
We aim to make funded childcare clear and transparent, helping families understand which sessions are fully funded and any charges that may apply where additional childcare hours are purchased.
Funded Childcare Sessions
Eligible children can access their funded early education entitlement free of charge during the following funded sessions:
These sessions may be taken using funded hours only and do not require the purchase of any additional childcare.
Children may also attend a full day session using up to 10 funded hours. As our standard full day session is 11 hours, one hour falls outside of the funded entitlement and is therefore chargeable at the nursery's standard hourly rate.
Split Funding
Parents may choose to split their funded entitlement between more than one childcare provider, subject to local authority funding requirements. Please speak to your nursery manager for further information.
Meals and Additional Charges
Funded early education hours are provided free of charge.
Nursery meal charges are invoiced separately from childcare fees and are itemised on invoices. However, parents accessing a fully funded place are not required to purchase nursery meals as a condition of taking up their funded entitlement.
Parents may opt out of meal charges for funded-only sessions by speaking with their nursery manager. Children attending funded sessions will continue to receive meals regardless of whether a parent chooses to opt out of the meal charge.
Where parents purchase additional childcare hours outside of their funded entitlement, charges will apply in accordance with the nursery's standard fee structure.
Notice Periods
The nursery's standard notice period for reducing sessions or ending a nursery place is one month's written notice, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
Where a parent wishes to end their funding entitlement with us, Oxfordshire County Council permits providers to apply a notice period of two weeks for the transfer of funding. Parents should discuss any planned funding changes with their nursery manager as early as possible.
