Child Friendly Recipe - Chicken Tikka Curry

If you need help spicing up your next meal then we've got you sorted. This is packed with tasty ingredients and is sure to go down well with all the family!

This week's recipe is a chicken tikka curry which has yummy ingredients like natural yogurt and mixed vegetables. It's full of flavour yet so easy to make. Check out the recipe below and start frying away!

Ingredients:

-  Greek Style Natural Yogurt – 100g

-  Tikka Curry Paste – 80g

-  Fresh Diced Chicken – 300g

-  Chopped Tomatoes – 320g

-  Brown Wholegrain Rice – 160g

-  Large Spanish Onion – 60g

-  Mixed Vegetables – 100g

Ready, steady, cook!

1. Firstly, marinate the chicken in the tikka paste, overnight if possible

2. Next, fry the onion until soft, then add the chicken and cook for a further 20 mins

3. Afterwards, add the chopped tomatoes and mixed vegetables and bring to the boil

4. Then reduce the heat and simmer until cooked (about 45 mins)

5. Finally, cook the rice and add the yogurt to the chicken just before serving

* To make this vegetarian, change the chicken for extra mixed vegetables
